Olivia Olsen, Instructor

In this beginning color and value class you learn to mix a limited pallet of colors to use in a painting.

In addition to color, you will gain an understanding of value (the relative lightness or darkness of a color) and learn to use a complete value scale.

In my 40 years teaching painting I have concluded that the most commonly made mistake is in misunderstanding value changes.

I can help you gain confidence and experience joy as you learn to paint.
